PRIVACY & TRAINING RECORDS
Learning with
a clear boundary.
Shiner Ops Learn records training activity so your company can manage enrollment and completion.
What the course records
Your name and email address, company enrollment, completed lessons, assessment scores and attempt dates, completion date, and certificate. The system also stores company reporting instructions and seat/access settings.
Who can see it
You can see your own course record. Your company’s authorized training administrators can view and export its learner records. Shiner Ops administrators can manage the platform and support customer companies. One company’s administrators cannot access another company’s records.
What it does not do
The platform does not inspect mailboxes, send simulated phishing, monitor employee work, install software, or collect Microsoft passwords, MFA codes, or other workplace credentials. Lesson examples are fictional, on-page exercises. There are no advertising analytics or tracking pixels in the course.
Sign-in and email delivery
Essential cookies keep you signed in and protect forms. One-time email links expire and can be used once. The platform stores a hash of each link, not its usable value. Shiner Ops uses Brevo to deliver invitations and sign-in emails; that service processes recipient addresses, email content, delivery status, and standard delivery logs. Training messages are sent as plain text. The application does not collect email-open or link-click activity.
Operational records
Invitation status, provider message identifiers, temporary security records, and session records are needed to operate the service. Rate-limit keys are hashed, expire from the application within a day, and are not used for employee monitoring. Hosting and email providers may retain security and delivery logs under their service policies. Training records and certificates remain available while the company uses the service; ask Shiner Ops to coordinate retention, export, or deletion with your company. Application backups are retained for 30 days.
Preview mode
The public preview uses a temporary browser session for lesson progress. It does not create an employee account or official certificate. The administrator preview contains fictional data. Preview and expired sign-in sessions are removed by routine cleanup.
Questions and corrections
Contact your company training administrator or brady@shinerops.com for access, corrections, exports, or deletion requests. Do not send passwords, codes, or suspicious attachments to this training website.
Course ownership
The course, assessment, product design, and source code are Shiner Ops intellectual property. Customer names and customer-supplied procedures remain their respective owners’ material. A completion certificate documents course completion; it is not a professional license, regulatory certification, or security guarantee.
