SEE THE SITUATION

The contractor changes the work order.

Before a scheduled service visit, a contractor asks for a site code and staff contact list. The name and equipment details are familiar, but the address and format changed. Do not send access information from the message alone. Check the approved work order, call the established vendor contact and involve your supervisor.

YOUR GOAL

Escalate operational urgency while keeping site access, records and payments authorized.

Keep these essentials

Verify contractor scope and permissions in the approved work-order process. Route official record requests to the authorized compliance contact.

Follow site safety and incident procedures. Do not disconnect, restart, power down or change operational technology or safety-critical equipment on your own.
